My career as a nurse started in 2016, I started as an inpatient surgical unit nurse. We managed all the colorectal and general surgery patients as well as orthopedics, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, Urology, and many other services. My favorite patient population was the colorectal patients. When the opportunity came to come to the RPM clinic, I took it! I was lucky enough to get trained as an ostomy nurse and have been sharing my new skills with all my peers and finding ways to better support our colorectal patient population.
