Christine Feira (Fera) is a Nurse Practitioner in the General Surgery/Colorectal Surgery Department at Children’s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City, Missouri. After spending three years providing complex care to the patients of the Comprehensive Colorectal Center, she was recently named the team’s first Bowel Management Boot Camp Nurse Practitioner. 

Her work in bowel management and colorectal care has been featured both locally & nationally through lectures, podcasts, and research articles. Prior to joining the Colorectal Center, she spent six years as an nurse assisting General & Colorectal surgeries in the Operating Room.
