John G. Scheider, MD, is a pediatric surgeon at Children’s Wisconsin and an assistant professor of surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Scheider received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed his residency in general surgery at the University of Vermont. He then completed fellowships pediatric colorectal surgery at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital and surgical critical care here at Children’s Wisconsin. He finished his training with a pediatric surgery fellowship at The Children’s Hospital at Oklahoma University Medical Center. Dr. Schneider is board certified in general surgery and pediatric surgery as well as surgical critical care.
