Janett Coronado joined the DSD and Cloaca team at Phoenix Children’s in 2009. She serves as the clinical coordinator and social worker. In her role, she oversees outpatient and clinic care for the DSD and Cloaca multidisciplinary team. This includes developing care plans, providing short- and long-term services such as education regarding diagnosis, support groups, and symposiums, and acting as a liaison between DSD families and providers. Janett’s expertise in cultivating and maintaining practical interaction and communication between team members and families is instrumental in driving the care coordination process and facilitating patient care continuity. She has earned a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and Psychology and a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
