Jason S. Frischer, MD

Jason S. Frischer, MD, is the Director of the Colorectal Center at Cincinnati Children’s as well as the Associate Director, Division of Pediatric Surgery. He obtained his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his medical degree magna cum laude from SUNY Downstate in 1999 and went on to complete his general surgery and chief residency at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York where he focused his training on colorectal surgery. Dr. Frischer completed his pediatric surgery fellowship at the Children’s Hospital of New York, Columbia University, and is Board Certified in General and Pediatric Surgery. Jason Frischer has been with the Colorectal Center since 2008 and became the Director in 2014. His areas of focus include anorectal malformations (ARM), Hirschsprung disease, cloaca, constipation and fecal incontinence, and inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis).
