Kate McCracken, MD, FACOG

Kate McCracken, MD, FACOG, is an Associate Professor in the Division of Gynecology within the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Michigan. She serves as the Director of the Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology Section.
As a Michigan native, she completed her undergraduate studies at Kalamazoo College and received her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2005. She completed a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at The Ohio State University, followed by a fellowship in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology at Kosair Children’s Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky

She is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology, with a Focused Practice Certification in Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology.
Dr. McCracken is committed to providing gynecologic and reproductive healthcare for girls and young women via her full-scope Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology practice. She is passionate about treatment of pelvic pain/endometriosis, contraceptive care, fertility preservation, heavy menstrual bleeding, and surgical pelvic reconstruction for girls and young women with mullerian anomalies, reproductive tract anomalies, and anorectal malformations.

She is an active member of the North American Society for Pediatric & Adolescent Gynecology (NASPAG), where she holds several leadership positions. She is the immediate past chair of the AAGL Pediatric and Adolescent Special Interest Group and a member Gynecology Working Group of the Pediatric Colorectal and Pelvic Learning Consortium.
