Khalil El-Chammas, MD, MS
Khalil El-Chammas, MD, MS is a pediatric gastroenterologist and the Associate Director of the Neurogastroenterology and Motility Center at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. He is devoted to improving the lives of children with a wide variety of motility disorders as well as disorders of brain-gut interaction. Khalil is also an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the University of Cincinnati and the Medical Director of the Multidisciplinary Motility Clinic at Cincinnati Children’s where he collaborates closely with Colorectal Surgery and other disciplines to provide care for children with motility disorders. He is involved in clinical research, looking at the clinical use of manometry and neuromodulation in these patients. Khalil embraces the importance of training the next generation of pediatric neurogastroenterologists by working closely with advanced fellows in his role as the Director of Advanced Fellowship in Neurogastroenterology and Motility.
