Paula Cruz, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, CNOR, is a Nurse Practitioner at the Colorectal and Pelvic Malformation Center at Boston Children’s Hospital. Paula started her nursing career as an operating room nurse at an adult hospital. She transitioned to the Boston Children’s Hospital operating room in 2016. As an operating room nurse, she worked globally with performing colorectal and urological pediatric surgeries. She started working in the Colorectal and Pelvic Malformation Center in 2019. She has her Master’s in Nursing with concentration in Global Public Health. Her passion for nursing extends to promoting and supporting global health partnerships with knowledge transfer in topics such as bowel management in pediatric colorectal patients.
