Taylor Sephua, BSN, RN, CPN

Taylor Sepuha, BSN, RN, CPN, serves as the nurse for Colorectal Center in the Division of Pediatric Surgery along with the Colorectal Health in Pediatrics multidisciplinary clinic at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Indiana Wesleyan University School of Nursing. Taylor started her nursing career on the Medical/Surgical unit at Lurie Children’s before transitioning to well child care at a local pediatrician’s office. 6 years ago, she returned to Lurie Children’s into her current role within the Division of Pediatric Surgery. Since returning, Taylor has advocated for and helped establish a team of nurses within the division. She now attends division level operations meetings as the informal nursing leader to continue to advance the role of the RN. Taylor has received an organizational based grant to study the use of Evidence Based Practice in the discharge teaching of newly diagnosed Hirschsprung’s Disease patients.
