Wendy Lewis is a General Surgery nurse practitioner specializing in Colorectal Surgery. She currently practices in the outpatient setting at Children’s Mercy hospital seeing infants, adolescents, and young adults in the colorectal center. She has more than six years in critical care nursing experience. She is one of the founding nursing practitioners of the Kansas City, Missouri Colorectal Center and has served as one of the nurse practitioners in the colorectal center for the last three and a half years. She has been featured in medical journals and was interviewed on a national podcast for her contributing works towards bowel management and care of complex colorectal populations.
