Lissa X. Yu MD is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, Division of Pediatric and Adolescent Gynecology, at the University of Washington/ Seattle Children’s Hospital, where she is a member of the Reconstructive Pelvic Medicine multidisciplinary clinic. She completed her residency at Yale-New Haven Hospital and worked as an obstetrician/gynecologist at Kaiser Permanente before pursuing a fellowship in Pediatric Gynecology at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center. Her research interests include long term outcomes in reproductive health for patients with complex medical diagnoses. She is passionate about resident education and increasing the diversity of the physician workforce through early pipeline mentorship. Her surgical videos have been presented at AAGL, NASPAG, and ASRM.
