Caitlin A. Smith, MD
Dr. Caitlin Smith attended medical school at Albany Medical College, general surgery residency at the University of California at Davis, ultimately followed by Pediatric Surgery Fellowship at Seattle Children’s. She joined the faculty at Seattle Children’s in 2017 and has been on staff since that time. Dr. Caitlin Smith is the Program Director of the Reconstructive Pelvic Medicine (RPM) program, Seattle Children’s multidisciplinary colorectal center, and is Associate Professor of Surgery at the University of Washington. Dr. Smith has a significant interest in surgical education and holds roles as Associate Program Director for the Pediatric Fellowship Seattle Children’s Hospital and is also Associate Program Director for the University of Washington General Surgery Residency. Dr. Smith is also the Chair of the Quality Sub Committee of the Pediatric Colorectal and Pelvic Learning Consortium and was elected to the PCPLC Executive Committee in 2022.
