Christina Ho, MD
Christina Ho, M.D., is a pediatric urologist and co-lead of the Spina Bifida Program at Children’s National Hospital. She was born and raised in Birmingham, Alabama. She earned her medical degree from the University of Alabama at Birmingham under the early medical school acceptance program. During her undergraduate studies, she developed an interest in research and went on to receive the Fulbright Research Scholar Award, which provided her the opportunity to study public health issues in Hai Phong, Vietnam. She completed Urology residency training at Cooper University Hospital, in Camden, New Jersey. During her training she developed a passion for reconstructive pediatric urology, leading her to complete a research and clinical fellowship in Pediatric Urology at Children’s National Hospital. She is currently Assistant Professor in the Division of Urology at Children’s National Hospital and also provides reconstructive urology care within the Children’s National Colorectal Center for patients with neurogenic bladder and complex anorectal malformations. She serves on the medical advisory board for the International Sacral Agenesis/Caudal Regression Association. Dr. Ho’s clinical and research interests include complex reconstruction and quality improvement initiatives for patients with spina bifida, neurogenic bladder, and cloacal malformations. She also has a passion for international medical care and has been part of multiple medical mission programs, including International Volunteers in Urology and Colorectal Team Overseas.
