Dr. Wong is a pediatric gastroenterologist at the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) in Orange, California where he serves as the co-director of the Pediatric GI Motility Program and is a member of the CHOC Colorectal and Urogenital Center. Dr. Wong completed his pediatric gastroenterology fellowship training at Texas Children’s Hospital where he focused on gastrointestinal motility disorders. His research and publications include a range of gastrointestinal motility topics such as gastroparesis, motility studies, functional constipation, and innovative interventions. He enjoys working with patients and families on understanding and overcoming behavioral issues that often accompany stooling problems, whether surgical or functional.
As a newcomer to the PCPLC, Dr. Wong is excited to further his knowledge in this often-challenging population, and to hopefully add to the advances in care with his GI motility experience. In his spare time, Dr. Wong enjoys cooking, hiking, and chauffeuring his sons to their endless sports activities.
