Tara Goesch DNP, APRN-PNP graduated from University of Nebraska Medical Center in 2004 with her Bachelor of Science in Nursing, 2011 with her Master of Science in Nursing and 2015 with her Doctor of Nursing Practice. She was at Children’s Hospital & Medical Center in Omaha for 19 years. She started her career in cardiothoracic surgery and finished her time there in urology. Upon moving to Phoenix, AZ, she joined the neurogastroenterology and colorectal surgery team. She manages patients in the outpatient setting and performs and interprets anorectal manometry. Her favorite part of her position is starting patients on a structured bowel management program and seeing their self-esteem rise as they develop a routine. She has launched a local peer support program for patients with Hirschsprung disease and anorectal malformations.
